New lease of life for medical aid charity's online presence   (07/01/08)

Cutting-edge London web design agency Chameleon Net has won a significant contract with leading humanitarian medical aid agency Medecins Sans Frontières. The site rebuild will present a new online image for MSF in the UK, which aims to augment its already highly-respected brand.

Chameleon Net is proud to be working with such a boundary-breaking organisation, helping to leverage its website's key objectives: fundraising, attracting volunteers, and the publicity of its policy of 'témoignage', meaning to act as advocates for victims of conflict.

MSF is keen to attract more volunteers, such as medics and nurses, to provide desperately-needed medical attention in major combat zones all over the world. It realised that it had been under-using the power of the internet for this purpose, and asked Chameleon Net to help bring their website up to date.

MSF's website will be completely rebuilt by Chameleon Net, who will redesign the look and usability of the site, and provide de-centralised content management tools that allow any member of the Charity's team to add and update content more efficiently.

The site will be built on a scaleable platform that will allow for future enhancements.

The project is now well underway, with site launch predicted for March 2008.
